Bells cb and why...

I hope so too. I want to one day visualize the waveform pattern in my head of each radio that’s transmitting and then compare it on an oscilloscope.

 

I’ve watched Shermie. Until he produces a script to follow, its tail-chasing not education.

I’ve circled around this and old Rebbe refuses to see my point.

It doesn’t matter if Shermie is any good. He’s the best. He’s the worst.

He is irrelevant

FACEBOOK IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE

What’s important to know about Shermie is his contempt for you the customer.

It works for him, he can have it.

The Rebbe can write yet more words no one will read (despite already having his self-awarded ribbon for owning “Best CB”), and he can continue to step on those who have a rig he considers “less than”,

So how does a driver benefit from any of it?

He doesn’t.

Where are those one or two dozen other drivers who’ve drunk the Koolaid? It’s been 4-5 years we’ve been hearing all this. Probably hundreds of drivers have read these threads.

No one wants that Grape Drank.

Spoken like a true non believer. Let me offer some advice. Go back and watch the video on dumb people thinking they are smart. I still have trouble grasping that one.
You might say "shogun, I was top ten in school, scored high on the ACT, honors program in college and graduated with a bachelors". It doesn't matter Slow.

You think you understand rf engineering, but you don't. Don't hit me with the nerf bat, I'm a convert myself.

It's not contempt for the customer so much as contempt for misinformation.
It's also contempt for stupid questions that have no relevance in reality. It's also contempt for people that lie to you and try to steal your money. Yes there's lots of contempt but it's not what you think it is and it's all for your benefit whether you have the intelligence to realize it or not.

 

How does a Bells cb thread turn into a nauseating debate about Mark Sherman, every one of you ( pro or con) give this guy way too much attention, Im sure he reads this forum and just eats it up.

 

That's the question we must ask ourselves apart from Rabbi. Do we have the mental capacity to realize the benefit? Before choosing an antenna, before buying an analyzer, are we open to the rf engineering knowledge before us?

 

Just because someone is a happy customer with a radio that performs well in its chosen application doesn't mean that they don't need to hear how their tech is ripping them off.

As someone who has never heard the radio, I hold back judgement. Others aren't as reserved.
