Yes it's very simple to measure.
.0399uV rf signal, modulated at 100% by a 1000 Hz tone, is injected into the receiver and the level of the recovered audio is recognized by the human ear, and seen on the scope, differentiated from the noise.
The measurement of MDS isn't rocket science. Achieving that MDS level seems to be the tricky part.

I want to know how YOU did it. because MDS is subjective.
And you love to stay inside of the subjective area so you can argue.
That is why I want specifics.

1Khz @ 100% depth into -135.2dBm I will hear. That's not very spectacular.

I could send hundreds of customers your way if you can duplicate these results with a "black box radio" as you probably refer to them. Anybody can make claims. You haven't made a video. The trick is to modify the agc timing to increase the dynamic range and to avoid front end overload, otherwise that sensitivity is useless.
If true, you would have shown us. Without a video, it didn't happen with a cb or export radio. Maybe an hf rig.

Mate, I have done these sort of "how low can it go while I hear the tone" tests before.
But they don't mean much because you cannot have a conversation with a tone mate.

I did that video with the AT-6666 and those switching MOSFETs you chaps hate so much and you deny that occurred? Video evidence doesn't matter to you mate. Why would I bother to make one that you will say I miraculously edited?

True, but the weaker the signal that's still discernable, the greater the distance you can be and still have a converation.

I generally do. Your video was full of missing information. We were supposed to take so much for granted it was useless. The Radio was tampered with before you made the video, yet you expected us to believe it was new and right out of the box. The transistors were replaced, but you claimed it was a new radio.

 

I won't even get into how nonsensical the transistor thing is mate. Replaced or replaced ten thousand times they were still FQP13N10s. If that's your argument then you can have at it. I won't waste my time on that one. Horses for courses.
