Did not have time to type this all out this morning but it's interesting how things work out, there does seem to be a couple people out there (one in particular) that thinks Bells doesn't even know how to use the equipment they have and or align things properly.
Well we're going to find out, like I said I just sent him a radio (I'll try to put a picture below) that I run in my pickup, they normally don't take send ins ( it even states that on their website) because they're too busy, they were willing to make an exception for me because I just bought a radio from them.
Basically I have this Cobra 29 LTD Classic W/Bluetooth that I completely screwed up trying to play radio technician (bad idea) all I wanted to do was dim the ridiculously blue lights down some and being the genius I'm not thought one of those pods in there had to be the adjustment for the lights, well it wasn't and despite my best effort to put everything back exactly where it was they're obviously very sensitive because now the radio is completely off frequency both on receive and transmit , it's so bad everyone sounds like they're on Side Band and if I drive by any grocery stores or gas stations the needle slams all the way to the right and RF noise comes through speaker no matter how high the squelch is!!
So screwdriver is going to have to go in there and realign the whole radio so he's going to have to know how to do it and use the equipment you see in the background (like the Spectrum analyzer ) in his tune up videos to get things straightened back out right? I think this should Silence the Critics once and for all when he gets it done for me.
The radio is also getting a little attitude while it's there with an upgraded final , tune up and Echo added
I'll be sure I'll let you guys know how it works out, and I asked him for a tune-up video if he has time so if he does one I'll be sure to post it here as well..Attached Files:

Technically opinions don't even matter.
Results are the only things that matter.

Yeah I've already seen that stupid little video of yours with the chicken hauler having everything cranked to 11, maybe you didn't read but the Galaxy 99v2 I got sounds Crystal Clear and nothing like that when everything is adjusted correctly and I've been driving and listening to CB's for over 30 years!!!.... but what do I know? I screwed up a perfectly good CB just trying to adjust the lights lollllll

Consistency with Mic gain wide open is key. If you need to turn down the Mic gain to avoid overmodulating, someone stole your money. Stock out of the box outperforms 99% of the "tunes" out there. -
Well I hope he gets "lucky" twice lollll and like I said the radio I sent him is completely out of whack so we're going to find out soon enough aren't we?
Not to be overly argumentative and I'll concede that you know more about radios than I do it's not really my thing , but as mentioned before I've been driving and talking on them for longer than I care to remember, it's actually closer to 40 years , plus there are over 50 other feeder drivers out of my small little Hub up here in the North West and if you put us all together over the decades We've ran just about every radio there is at one time or another and the galaxies, even the non export regular CB's right out of the box are super loud and we end up turning the mic gain down on them even with good noise cancelling mics, so I'm not buying the radio is only good if it sounds perfect with the mic gain all the way up...
Look brother I don't know what your deal is and why you cheerlead so hard for that goofy fine-tune guy but even if he is the best he's extremely rude, and a terrible businessman, but hey I was willing to give him a shot because his clean and mean saying did resonate with me at first because like I said I don't turn my radio up to where it sounds stupid like the chicken hauler in the video you post above, so I was willing to give him a try but I wasn't found worthy of even a real response which is okay it all seems to be working out fine, the first radio I got from Bells is excellent and I'm sure the one I just sent in will be excellent as will any others I end up buying from him, but if there not I'll man up and say so....
Just for fun is there anybody else on this forum that has a CB from fine tune?, I don't want pork chop to be the only cheerleader for him -
"Anybody can get lucky once in a while."
Anybody can have a bad day once in a while and have their work shown on YouTube. That's one radio out of hundreds they've worked onrabbiporkchop and JesusFreak316 Thank this. -
After about 20 or 30 that sound like crap tuned by the same guy it becomes pretty obvious I don't want to give him any of my money.. the inverse is also true. After hearing 200 done by the same guy with studio quality audio and insane receive it becomes pretty obvious what the deal is but if you never bothered to ask people the important questions you would never have any way of knowing. The name on the front of the radio has nothing to do with the performance of that radio. To say that one brand performs better than a different brand completely ignores any modifications that were done to that radio and said modifications are always responsible for how the radio performs. Logically whoever did those modifications gets all the credit and the manufacturer of the radio gets none of the credit. This can be a good thing or a bad thing. -
@JesusFreak316
I looked for you on 90 today to no avail.
Was fueling in Post Falls at 2pm and gave a yell when I went past the Brown drop yard near Sprague Ave at 14:30
I was gonna buy you a Porterhouse and talk radios.
Maybe next time. -
Cool, but if he's so good and has done so many radios how come you're the only one giving him props? I mean seriously I think you're the only one, I just happened to stumble across a couple of his YouTube videos and thought maybe this guy is legit a couple months ago when I decided to upgrade some radios, however I really don't know ,but since he wouldn't even let me send him money I had to look elsewhere and I'm totally cool with it , like I said I'm a very happy customer of bells now.... what I'm asking is wouldn't it stand to reason if he is indeed the CB God you make him out to be wouldn't someone else be emulating that as well? All I seem to find is you and him bashing every other CB Tech in the world which seems kind of odd to me anyways
