i sold my dump truck and am looking into buying a belly dump. I know very little about them and the variety to choose from is mind blowing. Is there a huge difference between brands? Some I should avoid or some I should look for?

It’s been a few year but the biggest difference I know of is weight. An aluminum trailer will be lighter, but you don’t want to be hauling anything too big or. You’ll tear it up. Steel is heavier, decreasing legal payload, but will stand up to bigger rocks, shale, etc much better.

I’ve pulled Landoll, Beal, CPS, Timpte, and others I can’t remember. They all worked basically the same.

Beall makes a good product. I’m pulling Ranco now from Texas. Lightweight but cheap. Go off road, you’ll find cracks.
