belly dump vrs. end dump

    Depends on what kind of jobs you'll be doing. Ask your customers which one they need more.

    Less problems less parts and more uses.

    It beats getting a ladder and crawling in the belly dump to get a big rock out that jammed belly dump door that will not close. That is a really pane in the but.:biggrin_25513:

    I used to run a hopper bottom if that's what's you meant by belly dump and rear dump. Used to run a little of fertilizer on the rear dump and more animal feed ingredients on the belly dump. I found the belly dump to be less of a hassle. I didn't have to mess with hydraulic lines, fluid, leaks or the PTO going out. the biggest help I found of bell dump/hopper bottoms were vibrators. When the load would hang up all you had to do was turn them on. I didn't have to climb up with the shove(or whatever else) and try to loosen it up.
