I farm and have a hopper bottom and a dump trailer for hauling grain. The dump I use for grain and other material such as Gypsum and Lime. There's a belt trailer coming up on a sale and I'm interested in it if it can unload these products. Has anyone used a belt trailer and hauled Lime, gypsum, road base, crush and run,abc and or fertalizer. The dump I have works fine but you have to be so careful when unloading lime and such. The grain unloads easy. Just thinking this would be safer for unloading in all the different locations I unload in. When I haul Lime and Gypsum I unload in the feild where it will be used. Thanks in advance.:biggrin_25525:

We have a lot of Automat (belt) trailers over here, all are used for fert and lime loading into spreader trucks they work well.
There has been a big change to side loader trailers as they are lighter and have less moving bits.
