Bendix wingman

I noticed during the winter the snow would build up on the bumper radar. I would get a default but nothing happened. So I taped aluminum foil over and its bliss without all the #### beeping in city traffic. There is no way to stay more then 1.5 seconds from the car in front of you in heavy traffic. As soon as you slow down to create distance another ####### jumps in front of you. I've been running it this way for over two weeks and I've had no issues. I can still use my cruise control. No random braking, no reports to the boss. Although he knows what I've done.

 

It's a constant distraction. Some non-truck driving tech, engineering and government fools with dreams of making money from driverless vehicles designed experiment driverless phase #1. They thought the experiment went great and decided to promote it to other fools with deep pockets as a safety item and they bought it. Notice who's buying it. People that don't drive trucks and if someone owner op orders it for his truck its out of their own ignorance and they have been convicted by someone that doesn't drive trucks.
