come Aug, I will have health, dental, vision, long and short term disability and life again. Boss is a real prick to work for too. Works me like a slave, low pay, gone all the time and he bothers me still when I get home.

I love my job too.....

 

I agree Texan. I was just giving an example to show how easy it is to turn a little into a lot if they start young. Roth IRA's are a good choice also.

There's a bunch that live in the moment and don't plan for retirement.

 

we have sat down and figured out what it would take and with the truck in the imminent future, retiring by age 60 is REALLY looking up for us.....

 

Maybe it's time we end employer based health ins? The system is screwed up if you get sick and then lose your job no health ins. Nice !
