Benifits For Your Drivers?

If a driver works as a Contract Driver, does he the driver get a 1099 form of the amount he made at the end of the year?

 

This thread seems to have very useful information on page 9 of what a 1099 driver is. I'm not sure if the forum has a definition of a 1099 driver pinned anywhere but I think that would be very helpful for many drivers and owner ops on 1099 pay. Yes this thread is 11 years old on the previous comments.

 

I am curious about this run where you want requirement, and options? I never knew carriers were travel agents? How is any of this statement true?
