Bent bumper on a 389

I straightened one that was pulled out like that years ago with a truck tire mounted on a rim.
I draped a piece of a thin carpet mat over the chrome bumper and then kept rolling the heavy truck tire against it till it put it back in to place Perfectly.
My bumper had no crease but was bent forward about 6 inches or so.
