yes local fuel hauling and tanker work is on my list.
For fuel everyone wants 23 yrs old, except for PTC they want 25
and there is a VERY good tanker company in my area that currently has its FIRST open position in over 2 years at the moment and they said 25 yrs old
I dont care what im dragging, all i want is a day cab and $50,000+ a year and i'll be happy. Less work the better.
#1 Line Haul
#2 Fuel hauling
#3 Other tanker stuff
#4 Local Flatbed (equipment hauling
#5 LTL P+D

Try Tyson in Monroe. They have daycabs. Not sure on the pay but I know they pay better then my company. Depending on what your pulling you could bring in 50k/year.

You would not like Benton,
their equipement, runs, or pay..........American-Trucker Thanks this. -
$15 an hour seems low for that type of work, I'm hauling water in Pennsylvania and they started me at $16, the most physical part of the job is pulling and rolling hoses. I would love to be able to find a 50,000 dollar a year job running local but I'm afraid with my list of jobs in the past this probably will never happen, you on the other hand have taken the steps necessary with jobs and professionalism that with a little work and patience I'm sure you'll be able to find it, in time......

you really dont want to trade that 379 for ANY piece of equipment that they have. every piece of equipment they have is JUNK!!!!!

Try Old Dominion. I am working on trying to get with them. Like you I like where I work, but I miss my family to much. I was working with Con-way over 2 years. Real good money and home every day off every weekend. I got kinda spoiled. Lol

your almost garenteed to have to work the dock at OD for a year before you'll ever see a truck, and they want 23 as well
