    Hey Mike5511,

You better let our buddy that lives down the road from you do a "super wack pack" job on it before you use it.

By the way, I ordered a new radio the other day..........more work for Russ :)

Careful now, I wouldn't even use that term in the same sentence with him, unless the word "hate" is in front of it. I don't plan on taking the covers off this radio. It will do all I need it to just the way it is now. (he checked it out before I bought it.....as somebody else on here already mentioned, I'm just a beginner when it comes to a real ham radio.)

Don,t worry about what the other guy has, many radios have things that fit in with what that guy wants, your needs and desires is what you want to foucs on, don,t buy something you can,t operate, just cus joe cb says its the best, look at your abilities.

I appreciate what I believe the message is you are trying to convey. But, why do you think I'm "worried" and not just curious? How else would you learn to operate any radio if you didn't get one to learn on???? How do you increase your abilities without doing something new? And by the way, just to clarify, my abilities to operate a radio, any radio, are at least average and are only limited by my effort or desire to learn how to operate said radio.
It just dawned on me, if my name was Joe, I would use the handle "Joe CB"!:biggrin_2559:
