Ok if the Dynasys is good enough for the owner of Lucas Oil and he's promoting it personally, it's good enough for me!

 

question on Dynasys. Is it possible to purchase just the heating cooling unit, use shorepower or your own gen to power it ? specs and price if anyone knows please

I have been using a household portable air conditioner and 2000iu Honda generator going into the 5th summer. Right now 92 degrees in Laughlin NV at Harrah's nice and comfortable.

Pros:
light weight
1 gallon of gas lasts about 7 hours
quiet

Cons:
have to get gas for it almost daily
set up and break down about 10 minutes all in gets to be a bother sometimes as opposed to pushing a button with a bona fide APU
redneckie setup

 

danny I suppose you could do that, but the way its done it would easier doing a rooftop if ya went that route.

 

you somewhat missed my point, the news outlets that used that photo made no indication that the picture shown was not the actual truck or the actual generator setup of the guy that died. and I bet they sold newspapers and made a profit that contained that article, at best they mislead folks. that's my real point.

 

they have many different service locations. but I have found boomers in okie city, cantwell in ft worth and big in ne graunfels and Nebraska to be the best . simply because all they do is mainly apu . their website has a list of dealers and service. but boomers and cantwell are top notch installers, less than a day at either one. had mine since jan 2012, love it. and yes it does it all, heat cool, generator , 110 outlets, wired to block heater . I did also install an inverter just I don't run unit constantly while just watching tv and such.
