woodsplitter: I'd have to really disagree with you there. Maybe you haven't tried the others to compare.
I bought a new blue tiger elite at the truck show last year and the noise cancleing was so lousy, I went back to the Parrot.
I would say the tiger is much more comfortable to wear and the parrot is not but the noise cancleing is more important when trying to get directions from customers.

I didn't go through the list but I will add I actually use the Jawbone Icon. it has the noise cancelation on it. Only complaint is when the battery starts to get low you can still hear well but it seams like the microphone goes dead when the battery is weak otherwise I am surprised how well it works

Was a total blue Parrott 250xt+ fan for years. Started disconnecting for no apparent reason. Trying Blue tiger Elite now. Much more comfortable, pairing and reconnecting much easier. Noise canceling just as effective IMHO.

I'm a big Blue Parrot B250 XT fan. It has great noise canceling.

I really wanted the Blue Parrot, but was shopping around for the best price. Wife bought me a Voyager Legend as a surprise, so that's what I use. I haven't heard any complaints about background noise, so the noise cancelling must be decent at least. You have to buy it separately, but I'd recommend getting the case for it as well. It's around $20 if I remember correctly. It's handy to have something to store it in, as my unit gathers lint if I just drop it in a pocket.

The best Bluetooth headset in my opinion is the LG Tone. This is the one you wear around your neck. I just tuck it under my shirt collar and whoever I'm talking to can hear me fine. The ear buds allow me to hear well regardless of the surrounding noise.

I realize that this is an older thread, but thought that I would relay what happened to me recently. My older Blue Parrot B250-XT battery started getting weak, so I stopped and bought a new B250-XT+ and used it for a couple of days and realized that I didn't have the volume capability that I had with my old one, I never had a problem hearing with my old one. So, I took it back and exchanged it for a new one, same model, same problem not having enough volume, it would not go loud enough to overcome the noise of the truck. So I returned it and bought a new B250-XT, (not the B250-XT+), and the volume has the capacity that my original one did, I never need to turn it all the way up to maximum volume, a really good headset. I would encourage anyone buying this model to ask around before you spend your money, I might have gotten two bad ones that came off the assembly line together, I got them at the same place, it is possible, it is also possible that this model just wasn't designed to produce as much volume, I don't know. I am just relaying what happened to me.

After you have used this for a year or so, come back and give us an update if you would, I like the idea of tucking it under your shirt.

The batteries on the Blue Parrot ARE replaceable.

    They sell them on ebay.

As for me, I use the XT-250 in the truck and a Plantronics Voyager Pro outside of the cab. I can still receive my calls and look like Lt. Uhura instead of a pilot.....

Going on 3 years now with the BP and have nothing but hi marks for it.
