I took my first one apart and the battery is soldered to the motherboard, it isn't plugged in, I heard that the earlier ones were like that plug in style though, my battery looks different than that also.

for under $100,the Blue Eagle 3 has been an excellent value.mine is at least two years old and is performing as well as new.It is a very rugged headset. I caught mine on sale at a TA.The talk time out extends that of my phone x 3.It is a basic headset that can't be beat for the price.Plenty of noise cancellation, plenty of talk/stand by time, and it has a volume control and phone answer/disconnect on the one side.

Anyway, not sure if it will work with yours (I have the plus model).. go to Google Play and find the BlueParrott MySay app. I have the razr-maxx hd and it will read incoming text messages. Didn't help me much though, as I don't have the headset on unless I'm on a call. Otherwise I toss it on the passenger seat or hang it on my cb mic connector. If I take it out of the truck, it's around my neck not over my ear. -

You can get that blue parrot on amazon for $78 that's the plus too. I just ordered it last week on Tuesday and it was there Friday. There was an option for free shipping and that's what I chose and it still got there in 2 days. Also the blue parrot is way better than the blue tiger.

+100 on the B250XT+. Any headset that, when you roll down the driver's window at 60 MPH and the person on the other end reports a "slight increase in background noise", is a keeper. I love mine!

I currently have the lg tone. I love the battery life and comfort. I forget i am wearing it all the time. But voice recognition sucks! And if you drive a truck that has more interior noise then a new car then people can't hear you very well. I'm interested in looking into the motor trend mt-7000 that is at pilot. Anyone use that yet??

I used the blue parrot 250 xt back when I drove. My nephew uses the 350 xt and likes it better than his 250 xt. He says its lighter on his head than the 250, has the same noise cancellation, mic boom isn't so long as the 250 so it sits right at the corner of your mouth. The charging cable is a usb/micro usb cable like what comes with smart phones. So it won't be too hard tracking down a new cable if your old one wears out. Volume on the 350 xt can be turned up really loud. Button layout on the 350 is just like the 250, so if you used the 250 xt it'll feel right at home.
