BarJan or RoadPro? The Barjan seems softer with washable feel, but more expensive. The Roadpro seems more rugged, but that seems like it would be thick and hard to fold and store. Also another driver said he saw an ad for them # 19.99 on sale, anyone know where?

    They both work fine.
This is assuming your truck does not come with cab curtains installed, which many of the newer ones will...unless the driver before you was an idiot and tore them out. (which has happened to me before)

I have not had a problem folding up or storing either kind. I prefer the more rugged one because the fabric is thicker and thus, seemed to block a little more sunlight than the other one.

When I worked for Werner, I had the rugged thick cab curtains that I would use every night, and then I also bought the thinner not-as-rugged ones, cut it in half and then cut a hole in the center of it so it would fit snugly around the IdleAir unit. That way even when I was connected to IdleAir I still had complete privacy.

i used the roadpro which i got at flying j. i don't remember if it was $18 or $28. Anyways, they worked pretty good especially compared to no curtain at all. It does block out sunlight well. It is not that hard to fold and store although in stock form there's no way to tell which side (left, right) is which until you have it totally unfolded.

There were some pinholes, but other than that surprisingly good quality.

My wife made mine from heavy fabric. She put vecro for the top and sides and put a small dowel in a hem at the bottom. Storage was just roll 'em up. It did allow some light thru, but it didn't bother me.

OK, I am cheap. We use three of the jumbo sized foil windshield screens. They are $4 each at walmart. They work great and can store anywhere. Put up the side ones that wrap to the front windshield then put one across the windshield and fold down the sun visors to hold in place. Very easy
