ATT owns cricket so service should be the same. I don't own cricket though so i can't verify.

Att has better footprint over verizon in my travels. But I"m no longer otr.

Att also has a discount if you have directv as they own direct. You can even use the phone app directvnow. Stream for free but you'll need the phone connected somehow if you want a bigger screen. laptop or tv.

I don't know if dish has any connections with any of the carriers for a discount.

My directvnow service is normally $35. I get it for $20 plus free hbo. But the price is very soon to jump up $5. For all customers.

I had T-mobile and it was great in big cities. However, once I got outside city/suburbs I started getting dropped calls or no data connection.

Like someone else said, Verizon is best for OTR.

    Not really ,

Not if you use your phone as a hot spot.
Then data is more expensive than Verizon.

    Exactly,...

I have Verizon not because I enjoy over paying for service. But because they have the largest service coverage area. As an O/O my business depends on my mobile network connection.

Believe me,... if there was anything better for less I would be on it.

In fact.. I'll go one better. If there was anything better that cost more,..I would be on that. Its just a business tax write off for me anyway.

My husband and I are on the AT&T unlimited family plan and he has a tablet with the cellular data connection on the same plan.

The DirecTV Now Streaming option is $20 with free HBO and he just uses that to stream his TV on the road via the tablet - works fine with Netflix and HULU and Prime as well. I think the most data we've ever used is about 30 gigs in a single billing period so we're haven't noticed any significant throttling of speed.

I switched to Sprint and it works well east of the Mississipi and is good in well populated areas. If you drive in Wyoming or Nevada a lot or anywhere in the west away from population centers you might want to go with Verizon.

Verizon did an excellent job of losing a customer for life with me. I don’t deal with companies who go as far as reporting on your credit report; money I refused to pay for a phone they never provided.

Right now having problems with t Mobil. Not in usage. But. They billed me for an international call I never made. Then paid my bill with someone else’s credit card. Then lost my payment. They took care of the first two. Third they’re working on. I don’t think they realize they have a deeper underlying problem. I’ll see
    For now looking at alternatives.
From what I’ve seen on coverage. No problem ignoring Verizon.
I even talked with one of those nice reps at TA on Verizon. He offered me something like $175 to go back to Verizon. I nicely told him that and an apology put on my credit report.
