I always thought the Stanleys were top notch but I am hearing a lot of good about Yeti. Until I checked them out at my local Dunhams. I feel they are overpriced.

    Am I right? Alternatives?

IMG_1074.jpeg I have had this guy for a while, has a compartment in the lid for sugar or sweeteners. Keeps stuff as hot as I like and has a nice big cup. Less expensive as well, easy to clean.
The inside is easy to clean…..the outside is what it is

I've had two of these. My Father in law gav PXL_20251118_224842869.jpg e me one in 1974 , I used it forever. It was one of the glass innards ones. I dropped it getting out of the truck, broke it . Got this one about 2013 or so , been very happy with them . I've also got a Yeti, a big one that we take coffee to the grandsons ballgames when it's cold . Not impressed with the Yeti. However they make a excellent hard sided cooler.

Had a yeti. It was junk. Bought a cheap one from Wally and it worked better than the yeti. I did a scientific test to determine the results. Also have an alladin that’s works well. Got it for five bucks at a garage sale.

Stanley guaranteed for life and they actually are.

had my first one for over 30 yrs and broke the pour spout. went to web site told them the item number and got a new one 2 wks later, no questions asked.

ran that one over and got a whole new free. lol

if you pre heat it before you put the coffee in, you'll have hot coffee in the morning. 12 hours later

    Stanley!

I have Yeti products that are sitting in a box in the garage; they are OK, but not like Stanley.

The only thing I like about Yeti is the top of the cups.

I got a deal at Cabellas last year. Someone ordered a box of tops, and they could not put the style out on the floor, so the box sat on the dock. When I was there talking to them about work, I asked the dock manager why they were not selling them, saying I would buy them. He said they can't, told me the story, and handed me the box, told me to make them disappear. These are the magnetic sliders; they fit my Chinese knockoff Yeti cup, which is actually better than the real thing.

My 40 year old Stanley required a new stopper after 25 years. Pretty much indestructible

Coffee, even good coffee is available at most truck stops, and it's hot and fresh. But, I have several Yeti mugs and they are far better than any other insulated mug I've every used, in that they keep the hot/cold contents hot/cold longer than Stanley thermos or mugs. I usually drank my coffee fast enough that staying hot wasn't the issue. Only some insulated mugs fit in the truck cup holders. A mug that keeps you coffee hot all day but can't fit anywhere convenient isn't really as great as you'd hope since it will fall over. There's nothing wrong with paying for the tools of the trade. I mostly used a truck stop plastic insulated mug until may last few months before retirement. I also bought so much fuel from a truck stop chain that I got unlimited refills and a daily shower.

    Stanley FTW

I stop at a Love's before I stop for the day.

Preheat thermos, fill with coffee (still counts as a free refill)......wa-la! Hot coffee after 10 hours, plus a bit longer.
