Are you running it with the screen down? If so, then then hinge of the screen door is the rattle. Flip the screen up and it should be silent.

No, I don't keep the screen open. It rattles something that sounds indeed like loose plastic but I can't figure where that thing comes from.
I took the camera when we went in vacation and installed on my wife car and there was no rattle whatsoever. So is most likely from my truck shaking or something.
I'll send you a short random video so you can hear it and maybe give me an idea.
You sell great products and I regularly check your website for new gadgets.
I'm waiting for you to have for sell a super HD camera. I love high end gadgets.

So which dash cam will adjust between day and night settings?

I don't want to ever mess with it. I want it to stay on all the time.

I got 3 of those. Two for my cars and one for my truck. The best budget camera I've ever had. It works 24/7 in my truck and never had to reset it! I got it for 80+ bucks on ebay over an year ago so my guess is the price is even lower. If you are interested I'll find the seller I bought it from. (there are a lot of fake cameras that look the same)

Most all of them adjust to ambient light levels.I can say for certain that my Garmin Dash Cam 20 does.

Yup. Exactly the same, but without GPS. They didn't have the 20 when I bought it at the Pilot
