Exactly the way I have always ran my personal vehicles for 35 years. Never run more than 70 percent of the life to the wearbars.

Never had a flat in that time.

Drives me crazy seeing all the people with flats on the side of the highway because their to dumb to replace their tires.

That’s news to me. Never have had a problem with a timkin wheel bearings. Anything else you maybe get a year or 2 out of them and your back to replacing them again.

truckersb2b ... national account pricing on Yokohama, Goodyear, Continental, General, Michelin and BF Goodrich. Great resource for an owner op.

It's also super easy to set up your own national account pricing. b2b is about the same deal as a small fleet. they make their money in the bulk purchase.

can save you up to a couple hundred bucks a tire.

I'm buying 10 tires in phoenix tomorrow. Cant make up my mind if I want to pay 550 each for 16 ply 11r24.5 Michelin steers or 480 each for Continental HS3+

cant get any michelin drives ... 14 ply xdn2's a couple at a time if I scour the country at every loves and speedco.

For drives I can get 16 ply Continental DL's for 450 ish each or Joyus chinesieum for 265 each. Very tempted to do the chinese tires. Lots of friends have had amazing luck. I am not super lucky and do most of my driving on bfe 2 lane. Was priced out in the high 500's for Hankook DL12's up in Idaho ... no account pricing. Cant see paying extra for a tier 2 tire
