Loves depends on the store. The smaller older stores vs the newer locations.

PackRat, I have no idea to what you are referring. Non gratuitous drink rewards or showers, or the lack of available staff to clean showers and work the fuel desk? Or maybe it's the comment about limited number of showers.

I have been to a goodly sum of them, grande and no so grande, older and opening day new. If you were referring to the drinks/showers, I have yet to be questioned and/or refused when they scan my keycard. If it was the lack of available staff, I have seen those issues across the board. Finally, 5-7 shower stalls would be a fairly good average of those that I have seen at Love's and yes, that is limited compared to other chains.

None of the said issues deter me from fueling at Love's, until I reach 4000 quarts. Then I opt to fuel at other brands.

    Again, YMMV.

I'm referring to the number of showers and staff. Sorry I didn't get around to trimming the quote to that point.

My company has us fuel exclusively at Loves. Don't get me wrong, I love Love's. But they could do a few thigs better.

The new facilities, like Sweetwater and Texarkana are ideal. Good sized lot and a decent amount of showers.

Others are in desparate need of improvement. Like Odessa, TX. As busy as that place is and only have 3 stalls in the men's room? Comeon!

And I like to get the unsweet iced tea but it seems half the locations are consistently out regardless of the time of day I go.

I guess I should have included some of my rant, which includes the amount of space for parking, trucks idling in the fuel island. (I'm sure you all have seen Pilot is the worst with some exceptions)

I've looked at Loves, TA/Petro and seems Love's has everyone beat including Pilot/J with free drinks over certain gal/month. At least in my case that is worth $20 or more /month vs Pilot's 1,000 point bonus... But I also have the same complaints w/ limited lot size, and trucks idling at pumps.

It seems the better the grub McD's, Hardees, Arbys, Subway...etc, along with company fuel discount makes Pilot/J and Loves the worst. So in my case the time wasted in line is more important than the benefits. I realize TA is not much better, however it seems Petro w/ separate diesel only store, and grab n go sandwich is best.

Just one last rant... GET BENT Pilot Minooka, IL.!!!
