Uniden bearcat esp 20. Been using it for over 8 years now in big truck, works great, will buy another one if and when it dies.

Even before checking the price, I knew it'd cost more than my radio.

You can get a good external speaker at Radio Shack, or listen on the air, and maybe a driver will be selling one. Cheaper than a T/S will. Some CB Radio Shops will have used speakers for a lower price.

hunt down the workman k16 it's a polymer speaker. raccoon at the ta. in Tampa sells them. exit 10 on i4. mesa cb in wildwood.fl. has them behind the big chrome shop.and tjs cb in carmal church va. has them i 95 exit 104 across from the j. you can run your power Mic gain talk back wide open with no squeal or feedback. that speaker rocks.best one I've ever found .........................

This is what I currently use. It's a Yaesu MLS-100. It makes a hell of a difference compared to many other external speakers. It actually makes your voice sound rich and boomy.
