What do to regulations specifically say? Keeping one mounting outside for hazmat operations may be fine, but a fire extinguisher may still be required inside of the vehicle. The decals I've seen always read "Fire extinguisher Inside."

Sure seems like a stupid way of fighting a forest fire. And that stuff weighs a ton. I saw a video where a forest truck was caught under that spray and shattered the windshield.

Call the professionals , Cintas fire protection.

We used to have this set up with Sentinel Transportation, but the bracket would rust and let loose with time. I myself lost a fire extinguisher on the road, I wouldn't recommend it.

If you mount one behind the cab make sure it has some type of coverage.
We had them on a headache rack where I used to work, the weather exposure was bad on them. -
i drove a daycab, and we had (1) 20 lb, of B, C, and if i recall, they were the Badger brand. fully rechargeable, not a throw away type.
fit well behind the driver seat, mounted on the backwall. -
Inside a small cabinet mounted on the back of the cab?
