1,000,000 miles on it, it’s like having a brand new truck again. Every #### thing has been replaced. Except the driver seat. That’s gonna need a lot of help.

    #### son!

A buck thirty a mile PLUS fuel surcharge?

That means you will go broke in nine months instead of three.

Alright, so it will take a year to go broke.

    Seriously.

Why get sucked into a deal like that? The average spot market rate for a dry van is above $1.85 a mile for dry van. A good dry van owner operator can average well above that. Why cut your own throat? I completely understand the concept of being suicidal, but back away from the lease agreement if you feel those tendencies.

Hell, it’s above 2.12 per mile nationally for van. And frankly I’m going to be pretty upset with you if you’re running flatbed for less than 3 bucks a mile at this point.

Anyone not running on a percentage of the load(a rate which they themselves can negotiate) that is 75% plus right now, and has a truck payment and pays for fuel and and and, is a ####ing idiot. Only a retard could go broke right now in this market. And that means guys leased on that aren’t percentage, can’t deal with brokers and settle for cheap freight. It’s so #### good right now that I’m even about to give it another shot. But I #### sure wouldn’t do it for 1.35... wouldn’t even climb into my truck to run flatbed for less than 2.80-3.00 a mile at a minimum. And you can forget about tarping lol

Why in the world would you haul that freight for anything less than $2 a mile?
