That looks very cool indeed. I've dealt with dieselboss and he's a very awesome guy. I'll have to talk the wife into letting me buy a tablet and a mount here in the future.
Don't know where I'd put it since I already have a 7" gps and a 5" gps and a dash cam on the windshield.......

Hi Matt! I know you! Met you in Tyler, Texas. Tell your wife it can be an early Christmas gift! You will really enjoy a tablet. Be careful when buying tho, as some 4G tablets are just that, 4G, and will NOT access the Internet unless in a 4g area. I nearly learned the hard way. I think the tablet has to be CDMA, or something like that.

I was really racking my brain. I was like I've never been to that city in Texas. Haha no problem.

unless you really have the need for internet on your tablet. i'd just go with a regular brand with wifi. if you have internet capable phone. you can always use that as your hotspot for your internet.

if you get around to it. there's a free app called truckgps. i haven't played around with it that much yet.

there's also sygic. it's a really nice app. has real time landscape. that's almost identical to your surrounding area. even in the cities and towns. that one cost $100 bucks though. i use it from time to time. as i bought the car version when it first came out. i'd use it a lot more if i drove 48 states.

i really don't know why more people don't use copilot. we wouldn't hear about so many accidents becuase they listened to their gps. and the people might just beleive that there really is a gps that works.

Tablets really aren't designed to be running constantly for 11+ hours a day running a navigation program.
    How is your holding up?

my asus tablet worked for 9 months without a problem.

for the past 8 months i've been using a sprint unactivated samsung note 2.

i started with their pcmiler unit. to which i still have. but can't do the things the app can. such as alternate routing, and traffic.
