I buy my work clothes at Tractor Supply. Cheaper prices than the "work clothes" specialty stores and better quality than the dept stores.

Couple questions tho..... insulated socks?? Never saw those. Always thot electric socks was kinda getting "out there".:biggrin_25519:

For tax deduction purposes, what can a hooker list as "work clothes"?

Since many of you are Wally World shoppers, they sell a hooded, insulated "Wall's" coat. I bought one a couple years ago. It's a good, warm, stylish work coat. It's similar to a Carhart at half the price. I see a bunch of truckers wearing them. To the one's with a plastic ear, it even has a cell phone pocket inside. I think it was $40.

I removed several pages of pictures from this thread and moved them to the dirty jokes forum. I like those kinda pictures as much as the next guy but this thread is not the place for that stuff. Keep it on topic from this point forward.

what one has to watch for is some of those wally-world coats and jackets...since just about all of 100% of them come from foreign countries...

ever get into a rain storm or even a little "sprinkle" and then smell some of the odor from the fabric...??

i swear they are making some of that outer wear with goat or Yak skins....yuck..phew..

    Usually I agree with you.

Back in 06 I got a "carhart style" $20 made in china coat at a truck stop.
I hesitated to spend the money because after all......... you get what you pay for. But I figured for $20 if it lasted one season that wasn't so bad.

Dang coat lasted me thru the 09/10 winter. It was the only coat I wore for work during the winter months.

When it wore out I looked for another one. Found a "old mill" brand sold thru Menards for $40. It'll last me multiple winters too. Still a made in china pos but for the price I cannot complain. And they are WARM!
Its impossible to justify north of $100 coats from carhart.

The OP might be looking for some thing that isn't bulky. I'm not sure he'll find that without spending major money on type of artic expedition style clothing.
