I know that this is an older thread. But I feel an update is needed since I endorsed this product in the past. If you need to be able to scan paperwork to email to your company, DO NOT buy a HP3752, even though they are still for sale at a fairly good price. After new updates by the HP SMART app scanning to email is no longer supported by the app. The app wants you to camera scan to email. If I wanted to camera scan, I wouldn't have bought their darned scanner to begin with, and there are other camera scan to email apps available like CamScanner. It appears to me that the app no longer wants to support feed scanners, only flatbed scanners. I could be wrong about this, but that is how it looks. Maybe it was an oversight when they updated the app, and another update will change this. But for now, a 3752 will not scan to email.

Maybe....but I don't have a laptop in the truck to try. Maybe I should take it home this weekend and try it on our home computer. Maybe then I could convince my wife I need a new laptop. I had been just using it wifi direct with my cellphone. I am sure I am doing something wrong, but using my cellphone camera to scan just doesn't seem to work for me. The payroll lady keeps asking me to rescan stuff when I use a camera scan. Too dark, too light, too blurry, etc. When I was able to scan with my HP scanner/printer, it was always fine. Good quality scans that worked well. And the printer part of it still works fine. Just this afternoon, my dispatcher emailed me an oversized load permit. I was able to print wifi direct from my smartphone with no problems. Frustrating that the people who make the required HP SMART app decided I didn't need that functionality in a device I paid good money for, and that worked fine as I needed it to for nearly 2 years.
