Fellers', I appreciate all the help. I know it sounds like a minor issue, but there is nothing more irritating than having a sore knee just because you can't get comfortable. When I was young you'd get an ache,,,,,,,,and shazam the pain or soreness would be gone in no time. Now the pain just seems to drag on. I really like this forum, everytime I get involved in one of these thread things I either learn something, or end up laughing.......... you know what? That ain't bad considering the times we live in.

I just wanted to let you fellers' know that this was actually my first thread, well besides the welcome wagon, and I wasn't sure about how to reply as the originator of the thread. I did figure the thanks out, and I do appreciate the help. I 'll try to get better at this thread stuff.

Don't know how many you've tried out, but I'm fairly tall myself at 6'5". All I can tell you is my Shaker Classic is comfy to me. You might check one out.

    dstan00000 Thanks this.

There was a similar question asked in another thread.

I'm 6'-5" & the thing I've noticed about sleepers is if the bunk widens behind the cab, you'll most likely be okay. I've had 610 Volvos & the sleepers don't flare out behind the cab. Even laying cross-ways I touched at both ends.

As for leg room up front, most trucks I've driven, I've put the seat all the way back. Most of the time it'll hit the drawers or closet behind it & wear holes in the back of the seat. I've got a Columbia now & it's not to bad.

I'm sure you wouldn't like the Mack's I used to drive. I used to be 6'2", but in my old age, I've shrunk to 6'. The Mack's were comfortable enough for me in the drivers seat, BUT, to go from the drivers seat to the sleeper was not that easy for me.
Because of the OVERHEAD storage, I had to just about be in a 90 degree bend to get back there.
I like the Mack's though, plenty of storage, and comfy enough for me.

I am 6'7" bout 260ish and I have a 1999 Freightliner.... I took the cabinet out from behind the drive seat and moved the seat back..... Now I drive from the sleeper!!!! I like the freight liners because I can stand up everywhere!!! not like the Pete's or Kw's.

ALSO I had a company in Chattanooga build me a custom 84" long mattress... you remove one little piece of metal from the sleeper and you get a long nice mattress in there...They run $225 and are really nice!!

I am 6'4" and the fld and century were ok. But the cup holder would do a number on my leg. Intl was fine.
