So I'm picking up in Lemoore, California tomorrow going to West Point, Nebraska, and it looks like my route take me to I-15 to I-70 and go through Denver, so I was wondering if there was a better route than going through there, cause I freaking hate snow and don't want to chain lol. Thanks!!

Check the weather apps. Vail is supposed to be 46 on Sunday and 50 on Monday which tells me I-70 should be fine over the passes. I don't know if your company lets you go out of route much but the route to avoid I-70 is I-40 to US-54 in Tucumcari, NM but that would add an extra 100 miles in this case.

Snow will not be an issue on 70…too warm for it

If you are that afraid, 15-->40-->25-->70
Puts you south of Denver, going east.Lonesome and nextgentrucker Thank this. -
15 to 70 to 76 is the best route. Weather won’t be an issue and you’ll avoid downtown Denver.

Well, they don't require us to chain so that's good, I've gone out of route before, don't really know if it was considered that but I got loaded in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and delivered in Ontario, California. The route was gonna take me to I-80 To I-70 to I-15, I was like F THAT LMFAO!! I went around Des Moines and took I-35S and go from there to get to I-40, didn't hear anything from them, but it was really a big through.
Thanks, just check the weather in Denver and it will be sunny Saturday through Tuesday, hopefully it doesn’t change on me, still hate going through mountains though. -
Dude its almost summer time out west. If it does snow it aint gonna be ####.
