Do you like warm or cooler weather? Metro or more rural areas?

I live in the Philly suburbs 40 mins north of Philly. As much as i hate it here people wise there is everything in this area. A town 10 mins from me called Quakertown is in the guiness book of w records for most food places in a square mile i heard. Within 15 miles of where i live i have 2 home depots, 3 lowes, 3 walmarts, probably close to 20 super markets, 10 wawas and fast food joints too many to count.
Plenty of freight coming and going from this area.

I like Texas, no state income tax and it's an easy shot to either corner of the US. I pull a tank up to ND and back each week however the company I work for has several drivers that run coast to coast with weekends off. One week they run to Florida or Pennsylvania and back the next week they continue on to California, deliver and reload, and head back to Texas for the weekend before heading back east on Monday.

When I drove for Schneider many years ago, not a single time was I told "no freight to get you home." It's a major cross road in the freight business. Texas as multiple opportunities for IF and when you get tired of OTR. Eventually you realize your valuable time means nothing to anyone and when you do there is a plethora of options in DFW and Houston to give up OTR, keep driving and not even have to move.

Oklahoma and Kansas are the same BUT you have state income tax to pay. I'd defiantly narrow it down to one of the seven states w/o. Maybe six as South Dakota is only worth mentioning from about May to early October. That bitter cold gets really flipping old after about 45 minutes.

You're doing it wrong, man. Exes are supposed to live in Texas. Then you can hang your hat in Tennessee. :D
