DAYM lol do you possibly have any pictures of that truck?
-
It has a custom sleeper , for 130k on top of the price of the truck you too can have all that . And paccar had nothing to do with all that .

You need to check prices, your way off, besides my payment is $0.FREEBRD Thanks this.

I'm sorry but a Volvo is not the most comfortable riding truck. It is built of plastic and rattles, squeeks and the dash is set-up like a mid-80's Volvo station wagon. The longer wheelbase of a 389/W9 makes them ride smooth, and the quality put into the interior is nowhere matched by that of a Volvo. I have driven a 780 and hated it, felt like I was sitting up too high and the dash annoyed the heck out of me. But to each their own and that's why there are many choices

Basically, if you like plastic get a Volvo... if you like american iron, buy a PACCAR.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
No offense....But PACCAR is now plastic too....

Find a older truck not full of computers and have a out of frame rebuild, less expensive and not as much electrical problems.
SHC Thanks this. -
If you are not going to run CA then I would stay with a pre-'07 engine for less hassles and maintenance issues.
-
I really like the 9400i's That is my preference though. With the cummins engine I think it's a solid truck.

Older trucks are great....But if you are a Cali based carrier like myself....Old Iron is a liability....Especially for port and military cross dock loads...You have to have a new rig for those loads....
