Best way to disable a driver facing camera

Friend of mine, owner op, had his company put one in his truck. Company said nobody monitors them, they are for accidents only, bla bla bla. Every night when he went to the bunk he hung a picture in front of the lens that was disgusting, I'll leave it at that... anyway, took a couple weeks but the phone call came,... he asked why they were looking when he was in the bunk. Quit on the spot. . He showed me the pic he hung, it was truly nasty. He said it was "tweaker" I'm old, i had no idea what "tweaker" is. Thankfully.

 

Snatch it off the windshield and toss it out the window.

 

As an owner we are way to busy to watch our drivers. My wife and I gave our heart and soul for our company. We live it 24/7. We refuse to let reckless behavior happen in our trucks. Your irresponsible behavior could cost us and all our full time employees a great career. If you don’t like it work somewhere else. But we refuse to let some ####### ruin it for everyone else and maybe kill others as a result

 

Not more than once, anyway.

Have had these things go off a number of times for people stopping in front of me. I get pulled into the office for a 20 minute argument every time on the semantics of needing to break so I dont plow into the idiot in front of me. DFC's are toxic af and your just as toxic for supporting it. There is zero reason to put that kind of stress on someone. Theres no camera pointing at your bosses why should there be one pointing at you. Do you value yourself so poorly that you think you deserve to be treated like a criminal? Your logic is incredibly flawed. You should rethink your lot in life.

 

Guy I work with got written up for flipping the camera off. They definitely watch these even when no alert is triggered.
