I have a 1987 362 cabover peterbilt, AC does blow cold but it's not enough and everything runs as it should. I'm going to install better insulation soon, but man that thing gets hot! I'm thinking about doing a rooftop AC unit that i can run all day, but I don't know how well they do. I'll run a genset. Anyone ever do this? What brands to go with or stay away from? Any recommendations or any ideas for better AC? Thanks.

I'd recommend Webasto - they make a good cooling system. Second to that, the obvious pick is Red Dot. And a notable mention: 4 State's Aftermarket Peterbilt 362 AC parts (RigMaster APU)
