Better pay in the 70s/80s

    1975 it was .18 per mile and $7.80 p/h.
    Slowly moved up to 21 ,23 then 28 in the late 80s

    I think minimum wage is around $10 per hour now.

    Someone tell me again how great the old freightliners rode and drove. My 1972 White Freightlinsr. No power anything, spring ride seat, but good ac.
