It is possible, when Carlyle sold out, the owners even stayed on as management for a couple more years, when changes did come about, they were for the better,
It doesn't always work that way though. My sil was driving water truck in the oilfield north of Ft Worth for a small outfit, when it sold out everything was suppose to be better, he had to leave shortly after to survive, pay was cut to less than half, insurance doubled, etc. lol

Don't worry too much about the training pay. Worry about the pay that comes after that when you get your truck. Months and months, maybe even years into the future when training is fading distant memory, those weekly checks you are getting are what you should be thinking about.

With FFE I didn't get paid training. I think I got a gift card for 250 dollars, something like that half way through, then another 250 upon completion. But mostly I was thinking about what was going to happen after that. They gave me a dorm room and 3 square a day while I there. It was plenty. I got 500.00 a week while I was on the road with a trainer. Now I'm at 80k a year team driving. My contract was over long ago. Haven't decided on what driving I want to do long term yet. Been thinking about it. But bread is on my table and I mostly like what I'm doing so there's no rush.
