I'm a company driver and I usually have the wiper blades changed with a pm. Am wondering if there's a brand of blade that doesn't leave slush on the windshield.

We’re coming into the warmer months so slush isn’t going to be an issue. To answer your question, I can’t give you a yes or no because it’s so subjective. You can always try heated blades, some guys swear by them.

    I should look into that.
Crappy winter driving conditions still exist in the immediate Chicago area.

Watched a couple of videos. Definitely going to have heated wiper blades installed later this year.

    Thanks everyone.

Walmart sells about 5 different levels of wiper blades. I suggest that, since you read to be capable, you take one off of your truck and match the length with one of the higher end blades and buy two.that should work well enough until you get the heated.
Disclaimer: there are a few exceptions when the driver side wiper is a different length than the passenger so plan accordingly.

I truly despise inadequate wipers on any vehicle that i drive and now opt for the higher end at replacement time just because you do get what you pay for.o_O

PIAA silicone blades get the ones with the plastic frame they won't freeze up and they leave a coating on your windshield that works like rain x. They also last 5 or 10 times longer than rubber blades.

I've had mine on 2 years and they still work like brand new

You can get them on Amazon for 25 or 30 bucks

I've been using everblades heated wipers for a few years, they work well as youd expect but they do have one or two issues .

The windshield needs to be cleaned and degreased before you use them and they dont work properly if they meet rainx, gets all smeary. Even rainx winter screenwash is right out, and if you do tell the truck wash guy to wax the truck your next job is spending an hour cleaning the screen and blades.

It's best to change them in the spring to ordinary blades, obviously it halves the cost as they wear moderately fast but they're not as good in heavy rain as regular blades.

Mine go for usually 3 winters and I wouldn't be without them.
