There are a lot of good companies that run out of/around Orlando. Any particular reason you are stuck on those two?

I missed it....it was answered. McLane runs out of Orlando and I've talked to some of their guys and they seem happy. Superior run around here a lot and the guys that work there have nothing but good things to say. Dillion chemical runs out of mulberry and while I don't know anyone that works there I have heard it's okay.

I have not heard for sure, I will check and see if I can find out for sure. From whom did you get your info?
I can't imagine they would contact you if they were not interested.
I will try and have an answer for you sometime today.

I love this forum, so many willing to help other drivers.
I have checked with a recruiter friend of mine, he should get back with me today. He usually answers emails within a few hours.

I see a bunch of trucks with sleepers running down I-4, I would image that's a linehaul setup because you wouldn't really be able to deliver a lot of places in such a big truck, wouldn't hurt to ask.

You’re correct on McLane, they should change the name of the job description from DRIVER, to LOADER*, UNLOADER, with occasional driving duties.

    * = I don’t know for a fact that the driver has to load their own truck.

    zigstar Thanks this.

Yes that's like my job, I spend more time delivering than driving but then again I make a lot more money than most people just driving... there's a trade off.
