I was told Pride has all there trucks full and solo drivers are being made to team drive until trucks open up, I find that hard to believe but I figured id ask, as I do intend to apply

Where did you hear this? As far as I know this is not correct information, I will check with my friends in recruiting and get an answer for ya.

Here is a quote from my recruiter friend, I sent him the question and told him what you had heard.
"Not true at all. We came close to having all of our trucks seated, but have never actually achieved the feat."

Thank you for clearing that up, I do value your time and efforts, Like I said I didn't believe it, and I feel if that were true, you guys would order more trucks... I mean that would be the logical option, also some say Pride and a lot of companies will not hire out of California, and I don't feel that is true....

Hit it on the head when asked if the driver talked to the dispatcher about the load. Common sense would tell you that you cant be up for 10 hours (because you already rested) then drive for another 10 hours or more getting to your destination. He shoulda communicated that to dispatch IMO.

Once you tell the dispatcher your fatigued..they should not push you to continue to drive.
    Circumstances shouldn't matter.

Not at all, we have drivers from all over and even a few local drivers, that work only out of LA or Sacramento.

Some companies stopped hiring drivers out of California because of pay & labor laws. It's not about the drivers, it's about the California laws.
