Beware of CRST

Not much advice for you as far as school goes.

When you get on the trainer's truck, the best advice I can give you is this:

Don't be a snowflake.

Get on the trainer's truck ready to work. If you have a significant other at home, get her regulated before you leave for school. You can't do your job if your gf is blowing up your phone because she misses her boo.

Also, don't be a homesick little #####, and start trying to scam yourself hometime during training.

Finally, don't be a loser and get on the trainer's truck broke. Have enough cash in your pocket to last a couple of weeks until you get a decent check.

With all the crap on record about this company, give me 3 reasons you are going there?

Are you just hoping like all the other 'hopefuls' that it will never happen to me?

 

There are alot of former crst hopfils in cedar rapids, 50 percent of our homless come from crst when they failed to get a bus home for unknown reasons

You may already know this, but you will need 'original birth certificate' and 'original social security card-not laminated.'

If I were in your situation, here's the way I would look at it. I'll get my cdl in their school, then if the recruiter deceived me, I'll jump ship to another company. As far as the school tuition; send the bill and I'll get around to paying it when I can.
I'm pretty sure Covenant and Florida Beauty Express will hire from your area, once you get that cdl.

 

I read somewhere they'll stop any company that try to hire me due to the fact I'm on contract with them. Idk how true this is . Thanks for the info.

 

I advice crst that i had a suspension on my record. The recruiter (Beth) said she pulled my record and it only stated a toll violation. I told her i will get a copy from DMV that shows it and my copy of receipt of paid n full for suspension. Than she told me she had to run it by someone else and will call me back it's been 2 days no word. I was wondering did I say the wrong thing; cause i also let her know i read reviews where ppl come way out there than once they run a in depth bgc they denies the person for the program. She was like thats what ppl write when they on expedited accounts. Is this true?
