this is another Russian/Serbian owned company out of Illinois. they used to go by the name of Double Impact Logistics, but shut it down because they had awful ratings as far as pickups and deliveries go…
the biggest red flags with the company are constantly late on payroll, constant fuel card issues and basically no sleep during the week, you catch up on that during your weekend load…
the entire time I worked for them I only got paid on time, once. they start off telling you that it may take your bank three days to get your direct deposit straight in their system, this is a lie they run for three weeks. next they come with another lie about them trying to purchase new trucks and the investor needs to see a certain amount of money in their account. after that they claim that their bank has put a freeze on their account while trying to fix a hiccup. nothing but lies after lies. next thing you know your payroll is an entire week late…
you’re going to lose money with this company if when you decide to leave, which will eventually happen. your $2,500 escrow for starters, the paycheck that they are behind, and the paycheck from your last week of running…
don’t make the mistake of telling them that you are leaving, they will bring you back up to Illinois and fire you without giving you the opportunity to go by your house to get all your stuff off the truck. best move is to wait until you get a load close to home, then quit…
    stay away from this company!!!

A problem with a 1099 L/P company out of Illinois? Owned by a foreign based entity?

I'm shocked! This is the first I am hearing of this!

How can you get seduced by a company with these practices and then complain about them? Better yet, what seduced you into working for them? My curiosity looms.......

mjd4277, Lonesome and Eddiec Thank this.

    lol…
I have been driving for companies out of Illinois for years. It’s my preference because I only run from April to October. For the most part the sky is the limit when it comes to making money with them…
As a retired, 100% disabled veteran, I have that luxury, most of these drivers are out here busting their chops, living paycheck to paycheck…
lol @ the internet critics, it’s info that I didn’t have a problem sharing.

Nowadays it’s a bad time to go into the 1099/Fleece purchase racket. Even more so with the price of diesel fuel spiraling out of control. A lot of players owner/operator,lease purchase and companies alike are getting burned big time.
A week ago I topped off my tanks at Flying J in Caldwell,Idaho. This is how much it cost.

The week before that I was in Northern California and when I topped off at the Pilot in Orland,California the price was $8.09 a gallon!
With 156.6 gallons the total was $1,267 dollars! A lot of companies can’t absorb that cost without passing it on to customers or cutting back on items.

    Lonesome and bryan21384 Thank this.
