Just a little bit of info here. I don't like to bad mouth companies or brokers on Central but I feel this needs to be said. I recently contacted this company for a load listed on Central. It was going from Charlotte NC to Bronx NY. The load pay was decent and the time frame was more than acceptable. The problem was they couldn't give me a confirmed drop off location. Now if anyone knows the city it's a challenge just not getting lost, never mind trying to find parking and a safe place to unload. I contacted the customer and he said that he had no idea what I was talking about and knew nothing about a car being delivered. When I finally got a hold of someone that did know they said they did not know where they were gonna be that day (delivery date) and to call when i am close. This is not acceptable to me at all. I am not gonna call when I am on one side of town and they could be on the other. Then he tells me that the cost was $150 less than agreed. I said no the price is the price. This whole situation got a lot shadier at that point. I called the broker and they said it was ok they have dealt with this customer before brokers exact words " Bro its cool these people a bit crazy but they chill no worries ok bro" seriously that's crazy. Anyway long story short after changing destination twice car was delivered and I was paid. But I went to the bank to deposit the check and of course it not only bounced but it was a closed account that hasn't been active in 3 years. I called the customer and number was changed. Called the broker they said they would try to fix it but its been 3 weeks and I'm out money and a bounce check fee from my bank. This company is crap and they don't care about transporters. The company is Auto Transport 123 out of New York. It's my fault should of read reviews and BBB rating is F- so just beware everyone
Have a Blessed Day
BEWARE of these guys

Sorry you got involved in a bad one, contact the attorney general and start an action on the bad check.
Karen O Thanks this. -
I'd pass on the name of the dispatcher if you file papers on the bad check. It sounds like he is an insider.dancecanyon Thanks this.

If anything about the situation feels shady or they make any changes to the agreement, demand cash! I've done it many times, they may ***** about it but hey I don't have any time to deal with chasing down money
brian991219 and bigmotor1212 Thank this. -
I thought about pursuing that even trying to file theft of services but because i accepted the check as payment it isnt legally theft regardless if it was a bad check. I don't have time to go through all that but it's a lesson learned and I hope this post prevents other people from getting burned from this company
str8t10 Thanks this. -
Ummmm that company is 100% rated with almost 2100 ratings. Have you left a negative yet? I'm sure just a phonecall letting them know you will be filing on their bond will get something done. You do have a signed bol right?
brian991219 Thanks this. -
In any type of relationship, especially a professional one, unless you go way back. When the words " Sir or Ma'am " are not used I walk.
" Man, bro, dude, cuz. " I say " Thanks cuz, " and go away thinking to myself " Dodged a bullet there."interpreter, clara, str8t10 and 3 others Thank this. -
I have a signed BOL from the customer and the rating system is crazy because I have seen people with 100% rating and still have negative remarks. Like I said I don't do the bad mouth thing I am merely putting my experience out there for others. I also do not want to have a bad rating in return from them because I am new to Central and trying to build my business reputation a negative right now would not look good. Not sure if that makes sense but it's the way I think. Do I want to open up a pandora's box and risk a negative remark when I am still getting established ?

Like I said it's my fault I should of walked away but the appeal of a very decent pay day got the best of me. I guess I cant blame the broker because it was a COD from the customer but they could of worked a little harder in helping me make it right.

What would you get a negative for? Did you pu and deliver on time? No vehicle damage? I would try talking to them first but if they don't respond, file on their bond and put that negative on them.brian991219 Thanks this.
