Atkins is how we are made to eat. Doesnt seem odd since all of the processed food came along the nation has gotten so fat.

Today's lunch. Having all ingredients in the truck makes making good good choices easy. Two months this ago I would have bought 2 pieces of Flying J pizza.

Fatty liver is at 30, down from 60 and at a safe level.

Blood Pressure: 113/74, very healthy and norm. It was 130/90.

38 pounds lost. About 82 to go.

    Knee pain is diminishing.

Tarping and untarping no longer leaves me out of breath. It hardly raises my heart rate now.

    Pass the Pork Rinds.

42 pounds gone. Strange how I'll hardly loose any for a week or so and then all of a sudden 4 or more pounds will disappear, seemingly overnight.

Hey freightlinerbob, I just started doing paleo. I'm a little paranoid about the high fat, but my clothes ar feeling looser. I'm also doing kettlebell workouts and walking at least 30 minutes everyday. I want to show that even truckers can have six pack abs. How long has it taken you to loose your 42 pounds? Keep it up man.

About 11 weeks for 42 pounds.

I've looked at Paleo and it seems very similar to Atkins in the induction phase as well as the first stages of ongoing weight loss (OWL in Atkins speak )

Don't stress the high fat but don't go crazy with it either. If your body is in Ketosis and running on fat, you need to eat fat to keep it running. You may find constipation to be an issue, if it is I suggest taking 6 psyllium husk capsules daily. They're $4 for 160 at Walmart, Equate brand. You'll be a regular guy.

Eat mostly veggies and fruit and you won't have time to read what someone wrote on the stall walls.
