I can't speak for the OP but i had a similar experience with Millis. 6 days out $940, ONLY because you get your trainers mileage also. I would imagine most people run for the cab door when they hit those kinds of numbers and i certainly did. I got ZERO detention pay for the 16 hours we waited for 2 "preloaded" loads even though they advertise detention pay, "Sorry, not for trainees.... blah blah." I'm happy to pay for the training! See 'ya!

Again i always preface i had ZERO experience with trucking before this summer but i can certainly see drivers are still crapped on if you allow it. I'm not looking to make the golden cpm of you much more experienced drivers but there is a dollar amount that needs to happen or i'll go back to my other skillsets. It's just business.

 

Why can't you answer his question? Just tell him who you work for!!! Promote your company and help your fellow drivers out.

Good grief! Is English your first language? Look at what you wrote. It's hard on the brain to read. I used to work for BOC gases. Now I work for Univar Solutions. Is it really that hard to help your fellow driver's out by telling them who you work for?

 

.....aaaannnndddaway we go! BTW, did you ever do your research, and figure out my employer? And just how does revealing an employer "help your fellow drivers out"?

This whole telling everyone where you work in my opinion does absolutely nothing
What one driver makes for company X most likely isn’t the same as others working there
No matter what job you have or where you work there will always be those to excel and those looking for an easy road

Some move up either to management or in our type of work those who excel might get better runs. More hours etc

If I own company X why would I pay a slacker the same as I pay the guy who can get it done without a bunch of hand holding?

 

If you can't deduce who I drive for you ain't smart enough to work here.
And what does it matter to you anyway?
Is that easy enough for ya?
And BTW..I don't care who you work for!
