Had some midnight steam after sitting down after a hard head hit (got up under the w900 smacked the air cleaner and dropped my body back down to the dirt)
Bumper, front bar support, rad drained, rad off... Un did the bolts on the u joints last night I'll pull them tonight. Getting there. Lot of work to do by myself and having my boys help after school. Lot of heavy stuff to do by myself. I feel way behind
RocketScott, Chieftains, BoxCarKidd and 1 other person Thank this. -

Lmao no the truck is in my mom's yard so I actually held my hand on my head I got insanely dizzly told my little one to go to Grandma's then I went up sat down. That was pretty much it till wife got off later in the day. I have a welt the size of a orange on my head today. -
So for the life of me I'm not sure why I haven't bought a decent torch yet... Couldn't get this hot enough to loosen up. Ended up grinder and few cutting discs. It's flush with the frame now. All the engine mounts are loosened up....
Found out the engine mount bolts on the cat are 3/4" heads the big cam are 15/16" heads... Bolt holes are different size. I'm going look at it more tomorrow maybe I'm looking at wrong bolts been long 3 days working mostly by myself lot to do way to much. It's supposed to rain like a jungle storm here tomorrow so won't be doing anything. It's going be good rest day I think. Had my little girl out there with tools with William trying take filter housing bolts off. The big cam definitely needs to be pressure washed off...
I'm still bothered by cutting up old iron I intended to fix to but need my w900b going more than a restoration project and this was cheapest route

Rain rain rain... We are ready to pull the Cummins waiting for the cat till it dries up. Have a u joint and few hoses to take off... Progress just sitting...
OLDSKOOLERnWV, RocketScott, wore out and 2 others Thank this. -
Dropped driveshaft still couldn't get the u joint out just cut it. F it. Waiting for cousin to finish up hauling hay then we'll pull the engines. Them tiger tools are nice
RocketScott Thanks this. -
Okay what's everyone's opinion, have the holes welded on the Cummins engine back mounts or drill the frame on the w900b?
Bolts on the engine mount are 15/16 on the Cummins, 3/4" on the cat.
