    Put box end of wrench on the injector lever adjuster jam nut with the wrench inline with the injector lever. The wrench will be angled upward. Apply hand pressure to the wrench to depress the injector plunger return spring. This will disable the injector and induce a miss.

    Hi , I know this was a few years back but did it get sorted?
    I have much the same problem after setting the over head it now sound like I have a piston rattle up to about 1600rpm o smoke or anything other wise smooth running.
