He wasn't fired, he quit to go back to being a minister or what ever he wants to call it, and then decided to come back on the road with swift. I'm not sure how he got to be the Swift poster boy (no racial slur intended) but he hasnt made that many videos.....Trucker steve has contributed far more to the trucking world then Big Cat ever will but I dont see his face plastered on a truck....then again Trucker Steve is in all those magazines too but he's actully earned it.

Doubt his race had anything to do with it. But i think Big Cat had a better proposal for swift than Trucker Steve did (if steve had any). You only have to go as far as his facebook page to see what he went to college for...and you'll get an idea as to why he has a "Ken Doll" looking tractor.

that wasnt even close to what I was saying....I said no racial slur intended because I said "Poster Boy" and one could as you did interpret "boy" refering to a black person.....

actually, i wasnt accusing you of a 'slur'. in order for something to be a 'racial slur', its gotta be vulgar. calling someone "white" or "black" or red pr purple, in and of itself isnt a slur...its a fact of life. I'm white. i dont get all offended because someone calls me 'white'. Guess i should start pouting or calling it racism because someone calls me 'white' when i want to be called "english-american" or "british american". and calling someone a 'boy', to me, dont mean anything that has to do with color. boy is boy....girl is girl. so what........geeze.....all you people who get all wound up. you people dont read between the lines.....you read between every other line, and make up your own idea about what it is you're really reading.

this P.C. crap can kiss my grits.

Its really simple.......The guy started filming videos starting in training school, and continued once he hit the road (just as alot of ppl on these forums do documenting their journey). Alot of young prospects who search Swift on YouTube come across his videos, deemed him as helpful, he started getting alot of hits, Swift took notice to the hits and popularity, and for the truck show in Vegas SWIFT decided to customize his truck and let him document it......Are some videos boring? To each and all their own, but alot of people think reading through 100 pages of someone's journey and sitting in a truck watching scenery pass at 65mph is boring. Its not my thing to video my journey, but it did help separate him from the herd. And yes, I follow TruckerSteve on YouTube and he's awsome.
