BIG GREEN TURTLE, I'm sorry, it's DM1404 NOW, if your going to change your name here, at least don't reprint your original thread word for word

Lol, its Big G Express fault for him having a DOT Reportable accident. I guess its Big G s fault too for not having his CB on and listening for the warning of the brake check ahead. You just totaled a truck and a flatbed, not to mention the towing bill, cleanup, paying for the flatbed, and the post accident drug and alcohol test. You re lucky you only got fired versus being paralyzed or dead

Whats the speed limit up through there? I keep thinking 65 but it may be 70. Why were you in the middle lane? Was the right lane ending or were ya trying to get arond someone? Either way, good lck but i seriously doubt anyone will let you back in a truck after the lawyers get ahold of ya.

He said state line so im assuming around chattanooga which is 55.
Dark_Majesty_06 Thanks this. -
That's a new twist on an old theme. They usually complain that the new, lower paid drivers are getting the miles the senior drivers should have.
-
Wow the stories people love to tell I've been at Big G since January and the only drivers not getting miles are the cry babies. Im getting between 2500 and 3000 Miles a week home every weekend for at least my 34. And yes our unsafe basic is 60.7 but if we didn't have drivers like this it would be alot lower. People speed and follow to close then somehow it's the companies fault when they have wrecks. You are in control of that truck not me not Mommy or daddy you. Had there been proper following distance this wreck would have not been this severe.
-
Some drivers follow too close etc. Then when someting bad happens , it's not their fault. Green Turtle thinks there are companies that will be glad to hire him? A rearend accident is probably one of the worst things u can have on your record. Good thing there wasn't a car between the 2 trucks. I think green turtle is in for a career change.

i have noticed a lot of tailgating with this company Big G in particular,6 of them in one week i have witnessed tailgating just today i witnessed a Big G truck 2 feet of a bumper of a van filled with amish folks, i forwarded the dashcam video to their safety department, yep i am a rat, but one thing i will rat out on is tailgaters, we have a bad enough image problem without some 65 mph driver that thinks he is a super trucker screwing it up, beware dash cams are becoming more common in trucks for the cya factor.

Thank you for taking that video and sending to safety . Big G does not condone this and I know it will be addressed. However unfortunately safety can't always see everything. As a driver for this company if we even have one bad apple in the bunch I would love to see them reported as this is a great place to work and I don't want to see it messed up by a few bad drivers. Most of us are safe drivers and want any bad ones gone. Alot of us will turn anyone doing wrong over to the safety department as it's hard to find a good company these

days.
