Just wondering, Why is your trailer designed like it is? Most RGN's I see with stingers, are attached to the back of the trailer rather then underneath the trailer like yours. Sorry I don't know much about them all together. Just curious minded.. Always loved your setup, something I wanted to always do but will probably never end up doing it, just dreaming about it :)

    cke Thanks this.

His is west coast style trailer, his main trailer axles and stinger axles are on on common frame and the trailer sets on a central point. You can see it if you zoom in on his pic, it's right at the back of the trailer behind the third axle. The way that is no matter how much weight you put on or where you put it it's split between those to bogies, in his case a 60/40 split. The trailer your describing is an east coast style, it's basically a standard trailer (usually heavier built) and you have to shim the stinger to control weight distribution.

Today I got familiar with Michigan frost laws... wanted to post pics of how I secured the excavator before I took it back off to see if there's a better way I could've done it

You are doing good young "Grasshopper".. if you can use a thinner board where you set the bucket down. Sometimes that extra inch or so in height will hurt your rting.. but looks good
