Getting better. Off work for a few weeks and just resting. Can do small things like mow the lawn on a riding mower. Can’t drive for a another week or so. No more red meat and whiskey. Gonna be a big life change for him due to his heart.

Found another pic of the Terex/Euclid. July 86 Had to winch it on...
black_dog106, Tug Toy, cke and 13 others Thank this. -
Picture that combination passing you at 65MPH? I know better but still....
-
I don’t even want to imagine that. I’m sure someone would try in todays world. I’m only four years into trucking and still consider myself a rookie.

That's a great picture. It and the others were exactly what I was looking for. There's a "been there done that" guy at Elks that claims it was never done. LOL...He was an engineer with CalTrans for 30 years so he knows quite a lot. -
I spent the spring of my 20th year (1974) custom combining and we hauled our New Holland 995 combines backwards on the big wheels. We were told that the lug tread tires should not be pulled at more than 35mph. I was the only driver with a chauffer's licence so I was the one who went from Grandfield OK to Grand Island NE to pickup and rig the new 1500 combines. the lug tires start to bounce real good at about 45mph even when you blow then up to 45lbs pressure. (the boss was not happy with me)

He may have known what was permitted, but he has no clue what was “ done”!!

Exactly right. I don't think he ever left the office.
