The occasional Saturday morning move…gotta keep my regular customers happy though. I have never seen so many dumb ##### in on morning especially for leaving the yard before 7. The highlight is the pickup and covered trailer who passed me leaving an intersection in a no passing zone and made oncoming traffic stop then found them 5 miles down the road with a blown tire. I made sure to honk and wave.
And somehow I got the finger from the stopped oncoming vehicle….idk -
Picked up this baby container for one of our other drivers earlier this week.
Then moved this weird box looking trailer across town. Was still 14' high so maybe I should've flagged it up?
Now I'm taking this 9' wide 47,000 lbs crate to Charleston, SC. 88,000 lbs gross.

Aluminum rubrails hate being pulled straight out like I did on this load. Popped a few welds before I even go the chains tight. Transcraft also puts their securement bar a 1’ from the edge of the trailer, making it a pain to use with chains. Next time I’ll try hooking my chains like this and going to the other side of the trailer. That way there’s no outward force on the rail.Attached Files:

might be a possible solution. Depending on the trailer and the bottom beam thickness a hook may need to be opened a 1/8th of an inch.CAXPT, Landincoldfire, cke and 3 others Thank this. -
Down to AZ then empty home. Get the wife back on the truck.
